The Benefits Of A Hot Tub Wet Test

If you haven’t gone through the process of buying a hot tub before, you may not be aware of the importance and benefits of a wet test. In the most basic sense, wet testing a hot tub allows you to test out the hot tub so that you are sure you are buying one that is comfortable and meets your needs.
Make a list of questions, contact your Sundance® Spa dealer, grab your bathing suit and a towel (and a bag for your wet suit), and get ready to wet test your hot tub before you bring it home.
Is it Big Enough?
One of the most important things a wet test can reveal is whether or not the hot tub model you’re interested in is roomy enough. It would be helpful to have the number of people you anticipate being in the hot tub with you at the wet test. Is there enough room for all of you to move around? Is there enough leg space? Does everyone fit comfortably? It’s also an easy way to visually gauge the dimensions of the hot tub. Most people are surprised to learn that the number of seats in a hot tub does not greatly impact overall size; for a footprint that is just a few inches bigger you could get more massage variety.
Check the Seats
Pay attention to the seats during your wet test. Are they deep enough? Is your body mostly submerged in water? Are the seats comfortable? Comfort of the seats is a worthy investment.
How are the Jets?
Your hot tub’s jets are the most important part of your Sundance® spa. Our Fludix® jets are positioned to reach the pressure points used in acupressure and reflexology to deliver personalized hydrotherapy. As you soak in the warm water during the wet test, make sure to notice if the pressure and placements of the jets feel good to you.
Are the Additional Features Easy to Use?
If the hot tub you’re testing has features like a cool down seat, zoned jets, or aromatherapy, be sure to test all of these features so that you can determine which ones you want and which ones you can live without.
How do I set up a wet test and what should I bring?
Call your local authorized Sundance® Spas dealer. Before you go to your appointment, write down any questions that you may have. The warm water and pulsating jets of a could relax you so much that you may not remember any questions you have.
When you arrive at the dealership, you’ll be taken to the wet test area. Some dealers have wet test rooms to give customers more privacy. Others may stay open after the store’s retail hours to conduct wet tests.
